Environment

The strategy for sustainable textiles will contribute to the EU transition to a climate-neutral, circular economy, and to accelerating the twin green and digital transition. It will aim to ensure the sustainable recovery of the textile industrial ecosystem from the Covid-19 crisis by • promoting its competitiveness; • applying circular economy principles to production, products, consumption, waste management and secondary raw materials; • directing investment, research and innovation.
