Evaluation of the 2012 Directive on waste from electrical and electronic equipment

The objectives of EU legislation on waste from electrical and electronic equipment are to protect the environment and human health, Contribute to sustainable production and consumption and ensure efficient use of resources through prevention and recovery of waste. The evaluation will take stock of the implementation progress. It will assess whether the objectives are met and the relevance of the Directive in particular for establishing a circular economy for electrical and electronic equipment.
