The Strategic EU-India Agenda, included in President von der Leyen’s political guidelines for 2024-2029, will provide a new impetus to EU-India relations building on the roadmap adopted in 2020. It will pinpoint areas of common strategic interest and initiatives that will help to secure those interests, in line with EU priorities. The numerous policy fields where enhanced collaboration can yield mutual dividends include trade, resilient supply chains, green transition, digital, connectivity, security and defence and multilateral cooperation.
