The current air services Regulation provides common rules for air services in the EU single market, such as: operating licence requirements; the freedom to provide services and when it may exceptionally be restricted; and how prices should be displayed to consumers. The initiative will revise the Regulation in response to the impact of the COVID crisis, and make the single market in air services more resilient and more sustainable while continuing to ensure connectivity and competition in secto
