The initiative will aim to enhance the fight against counterfeiting by clarifying the roles and responsibilities of all involved players – right holders, suppliers, intermediaries (e.g. online platforms, social media, advertising industry, payment services, domain names registrars/registries, as well as transport and logistics companies) and enforcement authorities. It will point at ways to effectively share data and seek to further promote the use of new technologies.
