EU label on product durability and EU notice on consumers’ legal guarantee rights

The Commission will establish an: - EU notice on legal guarantee which will be displayed at ‘shop level’ in a prominent manner in all points of sale to raise awareness among consumers on their rights. - EU label for commercial guarantee of durability which will help consumers to choose products with longer lifespan. The label will be displayed at ‘product level’ when such guarantees are offered by producers at no additional cost, covering the entire good and with a duration of more than 2 years.
