Transport

As announced in the Political Guidelines 2024-2029 and the Competitiveness Compass, the EU Ports Strategy aims to frame the current and future challenges that European ports face, in terms of security, competitiveness, energy transition, cybersecurity, external dimension, innovation, social issues, skills and safety, investment and financial support. The Strategy will be comprehensive and define EU priorities as regards the port sector, identify and propose areas of targeted intervention and recommendations/guidance to relevant stakeholders.
