Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy

Transport

The European Green Deal sets an ambition for the EU transport sector to decrease its greenhouse gas emissions by 90% by 2050 and to be fit for a clean, digital and modern economy. The Commission will adopt a comprehensive strategy for sustainable and smart mobility. The initiative will cover transport and mobility related issues, ranging from the Single Market to safety and security, social and external aspects, with a specific focus on sustainability and innovation-digitalisation.
