Gender Equality Strategy 2026-2030

Gender equality is both a fundamental right and a fundamental value of the EU. The roadmap for women’s rights, adopted in March 2025, sets out a long-term vision for the full realisation of women’s rights in Europe. As a contribution to turn this vision into reality, the new gender equality strategy 2026-2030 will outline the concrete actions, measures and initiatives that the European Commission intends to undertake over the next five years to make progress towards a gender-equal Europe.
