Food safety

This proposal aims to increase competitiveness of EU farmers and the food and feed industry and to reduce administrative burden to Member States authorities related to marketing authorisations of products. It intends to accelerate the access to the EU market for biocontrol substances and products. The proposal will include simplification and clarification of regulatory requirements on plant protection products, biocidal products, feed additives, food hygiene and official controls, as well as other measures to simplify EU Food Law.
